Our next expert webinar “Developing Professional Learning ” will be on Tuesday 8th March 2022 and will be delivered by Anna Cavanagh.

Webinar Description:

Professional development in schools is becoming a key factor in the growth and retention of expert staff. This webinar will share some key research findings in this area, explaining why CPD makes a difference in schools and the impact it can have. Ideas on how to implement an effective CPD programme will also be shared, and questions asked about what the future of professional learning looks like.

About Anna Cavanagh:

A theatrical background set Anna in good stead to become a teacher, and after 13 years of English teaching and having moved into leadership, she still loves to bring a little sparkle and flare to her work. Facilitating student learning was not enough for Anna, so she branched out to growing and developing teachers. As an advocate for ‘Continued Personal and Professional Development’, Anna has spent the past 8 years working in Qatar developing CPPD programmes across the country for teachers and leaders, ultimately to ensure all students, of all backgrounds, get the best possible learning experiences. As well as being an accredited coach, she facilitates training programmes and occasionally gets asked to share her thoughts through webinars and conferences around the world. Recently Anna has been creating her own CPPD programmes based on a collaborative learning ethos, empowering themselves to grow in a coaching culture.
