Learn how to meet your safeguarding obligations with our online facilitator programme. Includes our downloadable ‘Safeguarding for International Schools INSET Pack 2020/21’ to help you deliver your own personalised safeguarding training. Contains annually updated, ready-to-deliver presentation modules, facilitator notes and handouts that will give you the knowledge and skills needed to confidently deliver safeguarding training across your school. Best practice requires that school staff should receive termly safeguarding training, so this course will provide Designated Safeguarding and Inclusion Leads with the resources needed to deliver whole-staff training successfully. Attending this course, also gives access to five accredited training modules with content that you can adapt to your own school’s setting. There is also the opportunity to get further support from an accredited safeguarding trainer. Optional follow-up support is available.

About Karen Bell
Accredited Safeguarding and Leadership Consultant
With 20 years’ experience in education, working initially as a teacher of maths before progressing to senior leadership roles, Karen has worked in the UK and abroad on developmental projects where inclusion and assessment were key, and possesses a deep personal knowledge and expertise in both areas. She has led on inclusion at senior leadership level in two schools, achieving SLE status for her specialism. Having helped take schools out of special measures and been a key leader in another rated outstanding in all areas, including post 16, she can confidently prepare any school for a successful Ofsted inspection. She has also written and had accredited a full suite of safeguarding workshops.
