    Sharon Hennam-Dale

Sharon is a highly experienced and enthusiastic practitioner with excellent skills and understanding of teaching, learning and leadership strategies, pedagogy and research. She has spent over twenty-four years in education, including thirteen in senior leadership, starting her career as a teacher and progressing to Headship. She has worked in various schools in different contexts and with colleagues from different stages and phases of education.

She is passionate about the professional development of colleagues to build school capacity and sustainable leadership, leading to improved outcomes for learners. Sharon is highly committed to the value of collaboration in enhancing organisational effectiveness and has been a school governor for six years.

Since leaving Headship, Sharon has worked as an educational consultant, leadership facilitator, and coach and has been with Veema Education for over six years. She has extensive experience authoring training and designing national training programmes for middle, senior, and executive leaders. She is a highly skilled facilitator who delivers quality learning experiences for a wide range of staff in leadership and professional skills development.

Sharon has a secure grasp of current educational contexts and issues. She has significant experience working in quality assurance and evaluating the effectiveness and impact of improvement and the principles for judging the quality of standards of schools. She is a national moderator and accredited assessor for the National Professional Qualifications for Leadership in the UK and for overseas school leaders working in international schools. As an International Trainer, she has led training for teachers and senior leaders in Africa, Malaysia, Oman, the United States and Pakistan.
