Webinar Description

After 2020 and so many learners missing lessons, school and languages – hooking them into learning is what we are all doing. Plugging gaps with real life quality learning experiences as well as rebuilding confidence, keeping motivation and ensuring learners are exam ready alongside developing and reinforcing the four language skills and oracy. However, we mustn’t forget about the importance of acknowledging learners feelings and concerns. Taking the time to channel these into purposeful learning activities which recycle previously learned language, driving new language acquisition whilst providing stretch and challenge as well as opportunities for learners to open up about how they are feeling. If we can encourage learners to acknowledge how they are feeling and express this we are helping them to become more emotionally resilient and better at self-assessing and improving self-regulation all through the language. Language learning with purpose whether they are with us in school or at home.
