We know it’s exam season, but in reality, these are learning strategies we should be using and talking about all year round.

I came across these common learning myths recently and thought it would be useful to bring them together in a simple postcard to share. These are things students often believe, like cramming works best, learning styles matter, or that more time equals better learning, but the research tells us otherwise. And yes, some cramming is inevitable; we’re all guilty of that.

Left unchallenged, these myths can lead to ineffective habits and a false sense of progress. The postcard aims to prompt discussion, challenge any misconceptions, and support more effective learning.
