Who We Are
Veema is about people — your people and ours. Our name means “moving forward”, and we exist to help schools do exactly that. We are an organisation made up of school leaders, so we keep walking in your shoes.
We work with schools across the world to support teachers and leaders to:
- strengthen teaching and learning
- build confident, capable leadership
- improve behaviour, culture and wellbeing
- develop sustainable systems that enable all learners to thrive

Our Story & Mission
Veema was founded in 2013 by Costas Constantinou, a former school leader who grew up in a migrant family where education meant opportunity. That belief — that learning changes lives — continues to guide everything we do.
Costas has spent many years working in and with schools, leading national and international training on teaching, learning and leadership. His warmth, clarity and commitment to helping educators feel confident in their practice shape Veema’s approach.
He is the author of A School Leader’s Guide to Leading Professional Development, a practical guide for building powerful CPD cultures in schools.
