Course Description:

This session will provide information about understanding gender identity. The session will discuss, gender identity, sexual orientation, and gender expression. The session will look at safeguarding and the equality act and help us understand the terminology and find useful resources to help us going forward.

Learning Outcomes:

• To understand gender identity.
• To develop a greater understanding of the equality act and protected characteristics.
• To learn some possibly unfamiliar terms and language.
• To gain some useful tools and resources to help us when working with young people.
