About Sharon Hennam-Dale:
Sharon is a highly experienced and enthusiastic practitioner possessing excellent skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and leadership strategies, pedagogy, and research. She has spent over twenty-four years in education, including thirteen in senior leadership, starting her career as a teacher and progressing to Headship. She has worked in a wide range of schools in different contexts and with colleagues from different stages and phases of education. She is passionate about the professional development of colleagues to build school capacity and sustainable leadership, leading to improved outcomes for learners. Sharon is highly committed to the value of collaboration in enhancing organisational effectiveness and has been a school governor for six years.
Since leaving Headship, Sharon works as an educational consultant, leadership facilitator and coach. She has extensive experience in authoring training, and designing national training programmes for middle, senior and executive leaders. She is a highly skilled facilitator in the delivery of quality learning experiences for a wide range of staff in leadership and professional skills development.
Sharon has a secure grasp of current educational contexts and issues. She has significant experience working in quality assurance and in evaluating the effectiveness and impact of improvement and the principles for judging the quality of standards of schools. She is also a national moderator and accredited assessor for the National Professional Qualifications for Leadership in the UK. As an International Trainer, she has led training for teachers and senior leaders in Africa, Malaysia, Oman, the United States and Pakistan.
