Jacqueline Harris
As former Deputy Headteacher Jacqueline’s expertise lies in Early Years, Key Stage 1, and 2, and providing literacy support for Key Stage 3. Her training sessions are designed to accommodate diverse participants, including Senior Leaders, Teachers, Support Staff, trainee teachers, and NQTs.
Jacqueline excels in delivering comprehensive literacy instruction, encompassing reading, writing, assessment, and moderation, specifically emphasising phonics and spelling. In addition to this, she offers support for leadership roles within schools and extends consultancy services to children’s magazines and publishers.
Jacqueline has authored ‘Write Your Own Book’ (September 2015, DK) and ‘Spell Check’ (2016, DK). She also created the ‘Monster Phonics’ early phonics reading books in 2019. Moreover, she played a crucial role as the editor and consultant for Harper Collins, contributing significantly to the revision of ‘Letters and Sounds’ in 2020.
