National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) support teachers and school leaders at every stage of their careers. Designed to deepen expertise, strengthen leadership impact, and improve outcomes for students, Veema’s NPQs are delivered through a blend of online study, interactive sessions, and practical application, tailored specifically to international school contexts.
NPQs are Department for Education (DfE)–recognised professional qualifications, offering evidence-informed, research-aligned development that can be completed alongside your day-to-day leadership responsibilities.
Schools can also become a Regional NPQ Hub and receive incentive rewards, with discounted group booking rates available.
NPQs are long-term professional qualifications that support educators to grow in confidence, capability, and impact. Rooted in high-quality research and practical leadership frameworks, NPQs enable leaders to plan, lead, and sustain meaningful change with clarity and purpose.
Our NPQs are suitable for teachers and leaders working in international schools, British curriculum settings, and global contexts. They are accredited qualifications that are well-regarded and internationally recognised, supporting both professional credibility and career progression.
Teachers and leaders currently in a leadership role

The NPQEL will increase a teacher’s awareness of themselves and how they can adapt their own behaviours to lead across multiple organisation and provides an excellent opportunity for national and international networking.
The NPQEL consists of individual coaching, online briefings and online modules. Prospective participants are assessed for their suitability and readiness for a headship role before acceptance. There are approximately 124 hours of guided learning.
Choose from two delivery options:

Very informative, engaging and mostly practical.
Excellent, the course outline is clear, good timelines to complete course activities, engaging online sessions with the facilitators and the cohort.
A wonderful experience that exposed me to different aspects of leadership, gave me lots of room for growth, learning, sharing and self-reflection on my current skills and my potential in leading others towards success.
It’s been great. Obviously, some aspects, being UK-based, were not directly relevant, but useful to know nevertheless. Loved the ease of working at your own pace and really enjoyed the interactive sessions and break-out rooms.
My overall experience of completing the NPQ with Veema and LLSE has been very positive. The programme was well organised, intellectually rigorous and directly relevant to my leadership role. It strengthened my understanding of evidence-based practice and supported meaningful professional growth.
Excellent learning experience from qualified and best practice-informed.
I enjoyed the course, especially the online aspects. It was a good challenge to discuss and spend more time looking at different aspects of leadership.
Engaging and supportive. Course material is relevant to our roles, despite being in an international setting.
It’s been a truly worthwhile experience for me, and I have learned a lot from the course, coaching and my peers. I have had time to reflect on my own practice, develop it and been exposed to up-to-date, evidence-based best practice.
Facilitators were effective in content delivery, with one respondent specifically mentioning being impressed by Costa.
