We are pleased to invite you to a discussion featuring keynote speaker and published author Valentina Migliarini. Drawing on her extensive experience in the field, Valentina Migliarini will answer questions such as ‘what is inclusion?’ and ‘how do related educational policies influence teachers and students in their daily lives?’. The talk will be chaired by Costas Constantinou of Veema Educational Services, who will reflect on his experience of working in schools in the UK and abroad and share his understanding of the issues relating to inclusion and the importance of engendering a positive educational environment for all learners and practitioners. Valentina Migliarini is the author of The Education of Refugee Children a with NGOs such as Oxfam conducting research on the right to education, migration and asylum, education policy and gender-race intersectionality. Valentina has an MA in Social Justice and MRes in Educational and Social Research from the Institute of Education, University of London and is currently undertaking a PhD at Roma Tre University.
