National Professional Qualification: Leading Teacher Development (NPQLTD)
The NPQLTD replaces the NPQ for Middle Leadership (NPQML). It is for teachers who have, or are aspiring to have, responsibilities for leading the development of other teachers in their school, specifically trainees or those early in their careers.
The NPQLTD provides participants with the essential knowledge, skills and concepts that underpin successful leadership, helping them cultivate a culture of high expectations and associated behaviour across the school.
It will also enable them to create a positive, predictable and safe environment for all pupils while assisting those who need more intensive support to make behavioural changes.
The NPQLTD consists of individual coaching, online briefings, online modules and a final assessment.
There are two delivery options:
• Blended learning with face-to-face days
• Online only
