Having worked as Head of Senior in an International School for twenty years, I fully appreciate the unique challenges of ensuring appropriate levels of staffing expertise in every area of school. Specialist training is of course widely available for all areas of staff development, but we know that just signing staff up for courses is not enough. As stated by the DfE in their Standard for teachers’ professional development.
